		<description>Mary,

Thank you so much for sharing your story and journey! I think the more people that can validate healing as a possibility, with hope, the better inspiration for those who need some kind of a guidepost that this is possible! I know how difficult conditions of chronic pain--I have battled some myself battling endometrioisis for years and the subsequent multitudes of pains that come with it. All my blessings to you on your journey--I will be reading your blog. I agree that, especially with physical illness, people battle the concrete and neglect (unknowingly) all of the emotional pains that come from the experience. Holistic healing and integrative health practices can help mind, body, and spirit come out of difficult and traumatic experience. Whether the pain originates in the body or the mind both are effected in tandem.

Thank you again for your comment and thank you for reading!

<description>Thanks for your post. I come from a lengthy chronic pain experience. But when I had corrective surgery the real trauma started. I was pain free but felt like a broken soul. The pain experience was traumatic and I needed healing from that. Over the last many years I have employed several types of healing modalities, yoga, massage, accupuncture, journaling, to put the pieces back together again. But I believe as you do that when someone has hope, change is always possible. I know cancer patients who beat cancer and yet do not thrive. I think part of the reason is that they need mind/body work to heal from the experience. This is the place where the final healing occurs.

		<description>Thanks Christina aka Blisschick :)!

I feel so passionately about people feeling their own hopefulness and confidence in their own capacities for change. I see people, once I have worked hard to convince them of their own potential (this part is always the hardest) create massive changes for THEMSELVES in their body, mind, and spirit. Sometimes I feel like a used car salesman for a person&#039;s self...selling people on themselves and their potential more than anything and then they do, what they always could do, the real work on and for themselves!

We have amazing capacity for growth, change, and healing...I just don&#039;t want anyone to sell themselves short unneccessarily!

The funny thing is at the root (ie neuroplasticity and other concrete scientific research) of science actually dispels the black and white defeatest attitude it is just old school thinking that insinuates otherwise! The discourse supports the old, the science is showing the realities...I wish more people just knew all the information-- I think it could be profound for treatment and healing approaches and attitudes all around!

Thank you for your thank you!

<description>Sadly, our current model of scientific thought/research/discourse has such a propensity for black and white thinking. It&#039;s frustrating.

Thank YOU for standing up for the broader mind that we can all tap into, that we were all BUILT to tap into.
