Heal My PTSD, LLC

“Everyone should know a practitioner like Teresa — compassionate, empathetic, passionate, thoughtful, creative and always pushing the boundaries of tradition to include alternative ideas to progress healing. Her suggestions about the importance of bodywork in healing are right on target. It has been a great pleasure for me in my PTSD work to have a colleague so knowledgeable, intelligent and devoted to constantly evolving ideas to better help people overcome the effects of post-traumatic stress. I value and respect her input highly!”

Teresa is an amazing young wise woman whose passion for living, learning and healing is an inspiration to us all.  She is bright, warm, lively, vulnerable and enormously courageous.  She is a young woman on her way to becoming a leader in our field.  It is an honor to collaborate with her.

I am so grateful to Teresa for inviting me to pause, ponder and write
about Yoga for Mental Wellness– what it is we do, and how the
practice may help us live more fully with mental and emotional
differences.  What a privilege to sit with Teresa’s thoughtful
questions.  What a privilege to share our work.  Thanks so, Teresa,
for inviting us into your world of bridges and connection, enthusiasm
and hope.

{About the “ROOM TO BREATHE” E-COURSE} The past few weeks of the class you have led has been a process of discovery.  Although I fumbled my way through getting comfortable to meditate, allowing myself the time to journal, or to just sit down, there was a gradual and graceful self-awareness that I found that came to be.  An awareness of peace. I found pieces of me that needed to be shined up that were encouraged through your journal prompts and ponderings for each week.  Those pieces aren’t glaring now but that is not my personal goal in taking this class.  My hope was to be allow myself some personal freedom.   Ah, yes!  I found some here.  I was especially engaged by your photographs.  Especially the one you took of in Mae Taeng Valley and your story of Being In The Now…quite moving, I could visualize and sense it myself.                                                                                                                   Amy Lee C. of I AM SOUL BEAUTY, http://www.iamsoulbeauty.com
